Our "Shooting stars"classes are 1 hour 30 minutes of creativity, energy, and confidence-
building fun. Designed especially for our youngest performers, these sessions give children
the freedom to explore their imagination while gently introducing the foundations of theatre
training.
Through engaging drama games and call-and-response line learning, students develop
speech clarity, listening skills, and expressive storytelling. Basic dance technique is
introduced through simple corner work and fun routines — all in a supportive environment
with no pressure, just plenty of opportunity to shine.
In singing, children learn to follow and sustain a melody line while beginning to explore
character and storytelling through song. Every child is encouraged to use their voice with
confidence and personality.
Throughout the year, students are also introduced to performing for both camera and live
audiences, culminating in an annual demonstration that celebrates their growth, teamwork,
and confidence — because at Ensemble, every small step is a big achievement.

Our Musical Theatre programme is designed to develop confident, versatile, triple-threat performers.
Students receive balanced training in Drama, Dance, and Singing, with equal focus given to each discipline so they grow as well-rounded artists.
Classes run for three hours, with one dedicated hour for each discipline. A short break is built into the session to keep energy high and focus sharp.
Across the term, students rotate through skill-building
workshops, technique classes, performance demonstrations, rehearsals, and production work — all leading
towards exciting showcase opportunities and, at times, full-scale musical performances all led by their
stage teacher.
Within these sessions, students also develop audition technique, character development, harmony work,
choreography retention, and stagecraft — equipping them not only to perform, but to progress with
confidence in the world of musical theatre and beyond. Whilst all this development is amazing, above all, these session are fun and fulfilling!
